chassis
I inheirited a 57 GMC, but it is in pieces. All original, I was wondering how much work it is to swap an IFS on it. Would it be easier to graft the front end of another car, or swap the original frame for a newer one? Just trying to decide if I want to do this project or not right now. Any advice is appreciated.

Re: chassis
The easiest thing would be to sell it to me! LOL
The frame swap isn't bad , a lot of small details to attend to but well worth the time verse money. Beside you will still have a truck suspension under your truck. There are many options when you go after market from wild to mind...check out some of the classic truck mags to see or on the board. Seriosly though depending on where you are I might be interested. Thanks, Steve |
