Do late model wheels fit C20?

I was wondering if anyone knows if the late model alloy wheels fit a 69 C20? Are there any interference issues? There is a set on ebay and I was also wondering if this is a good price or not?
Thanks.

Yes. They fit great!! Look great too!! You do need to by the right lug nuts though. I found them at wheelcomponents.com. If you want to use the center caps on the rear you will need to cut holes in them or use the earlier 1 ton caps. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Thanks Wes! That's what I was looking for. To each his own I guess, I think it looks good too, 2 or 4WD.

Like mine. On 2wd you can use the front caps with no issues with the proper conversion lug nuts. On the rear you can still use the caps if ya use 2 lug nuts a stud. Solver clued me in on that. The offset IS wrong for 2wd trucks the need to come out at least 1/2" if not more. Have not looked hard for an 8 lug spacer, I've just been runnin ugly!

Re: Do late model wheels fit C20?

I just put a set on the flatbed. Got the lug nuts off ebay for $48 shipped. The centers fit on the eaton axles with no modification. I tried them on my other '69 GMC with the dana axles and the centers wouldn't fit without some sort of modification.

Re: Do late model wheels fit C20?

Pretty much all 8 lug truck wheels...Chevy , Dodge , and PRE-1999 Ford will fit on any other 8 lug vehicle. The backspacing sometimes is an issue. Its fabing the center caps that is the fun part

Re: Do late model wheels fit C20?

Whatever you do, check the backspacing. That's the distance from the back edge of the rim to the mounting face, where it bolts to the hub. Use that to see if the wheel and tire will fit in your wheel well.
