I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy the metal oil line to the engine ? I have the piece to the gauge but can't find the other piece. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: oil line

Is this what you are talking about? If so you can buy it at most hardware stores and a lot of auto supply houses sell kits with the lines and fittings in them.

THE ONE PICTURED IS A COPPER LINE. THE OEM LINES ARE MADE OF STEEL. 1/16" STEEL LINES ARE NOT AVAILABLE. I MAY HAVE ONE AROUND HERE, & IF I RUN ACROSS ONE WHILE PACKING UP MY JUNK, I'LL EMAIL YOU. JOHN

You can still find the correct style line; just find the Chevelle, Camaro or Corvette vendors and try there. I can't remember where I bought this, but I think it was around 6 bucks. I do know I got this from a Corvette vendor.
Oh, I did see them for the small blocks as well.

The hard part to find is the conection between the engine line and the gauge line through the firewall.

Hope this helps

As a side note, If anyone is having a hard time finding stock engine parts, remember to use the muscle car vendors. The muscle car crowd is doing more stock restorations then the truck folks so this stuff is available.
