Turbo 350 fluid capacity

I'm getting really close to firing off my new engine. when I pulled the turbo 350 tranny out of the donor I drained all of the trans fluid I could get out of it. When I put the torque converter on the new engine I put about a quart of new fluid in it, my question is how much should I add to the tranny so I can break in the cam without hurting anything. I know I can get the level right after everything is warm, I just don't want to hurt anything on the initial startup. Thanks, Steve

owners manual lists how much fluid is capacity and how much in just pan, if i oculd find one of the manuals around i would look it up and tell ya, im thinking its about 3 quarts and 8 quarts, cant remember now, some trannies are 11 or more quarts capacity after rebuild

I believe my torqe conv. held 9 qrts. and aprox. 2 in the pan.If the torq. conv. is full I would drop 1 quart in the pan and break it in.
