I realize that opinions are similar to the lower exhaust manifold on a colon. Most people have them. But for "curb appeal" , rallies or wheel covers? I'm trying to get back to stock from modified.
As always, your input appreciated. TF

I don't think ralleys were offered from the factory on any of these trucks. (I know we've had some heated discussions about this before. LOL) IMO they look really sharp and "correct" on our trucks. I also like the full wheel covers too.

Hey Treefrog, I have never seen factory Ralleys on 67-72 years you need the full wheelcovers I will try and find a picture. I did not get a hold of my buddy today on the sandblasting but I will.

I'd have to go with the ralleys.They really look good on trucks with upper and lower chrome.

To be correct, you'll need the stupid wheel covers.
To look right, you'll want the rallies.

Ralley wheels wern't offered on Chevy trucks until '76, so they didn't come stock on any 67-72's. But, they fit the style of the truck so well, they look factory correct. I would pick them over stock wheelcovers anyday.

Hey Frog, keep the ralleys you got a sharp ride covers just wont do it justice!!!!!!!! Their easy to keep up and look great on our trucks. My 2 cents, no charge bill The Big O lol !!!!!!!!

Here is mine with 15x8 ralleys, centers are painted body color I love the look,but thats just my .2 .

Treefrog, you are going to have to get some pictures and let the members see your Beatiuful Truck! Guys this thing is one very nice ride just like it is!

You could always just pop the ugly covers onto the ralleys when it would be important.
But I could never see the need arise myself.
Screw it, get a set of craigers.

If your "trying to get back to stock" then you have no choice but the wheel covers.

I opted to go with the wheel covers not only to keep Maych stock, but also be a little different. There are lots of 67-72 pickups around here and I've yet to see one without rally wheels or custom rims.

Of course, wheel covers only really make sense on a stock truck. They'd look kinda silly on a shaved/slammed/bagged truck w/ ghost flames. Might look OK on a mild custom, but they are really best suited to a completely stock vehicle.

Anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
