dumb question

Did these 4X4 Blazers have front and rear swaybars? Mine doesnt have either.

NO, not from the factory.

Some folks are using sway bars from mid 70s trucks and modifiyng them to fit/work on our year Blazers. Check the FAQ, should be some info there I would hope.

I put some very flexy Alcan front springs on my '71. To compensate for the tippy nature of the soft springs I also installed a mid-70s swaybar. As 71jimmy mentioned, I think there's a FAQ on this. I know BobK made some nice ones. Here are a couple of pictures of the mounts I fabricated and a link to more if you are interested.

Very nice work.....
I was just making sure i wasn't missing some suspension, that is posed to be there. I'll probably work on adding them myself when i make my torque bars.

I can kill tippy and axle wrapup all in the same project

Nope no sway bars on First Gen Blazers
I added a front one from this company:

But now that my K5 is a trailer queen I don't use it anymore.
