does anyone have a factory 70 chevy truck with 5 lug dis. brakes
heres one on e-bay i have been looking at . and he says he is 3rd owner and its a factory 5 lug dis brake truck. heres the # 4636606491. i have never saw one before but the vin # says its a step bed also but its a wide bed.?????????? any help thanks bill

Oh, yeah...and he's selling it for a friend...
If he stuck his head behind the seat to read that crusty yellow build sheet without taking it out, then my guess is he couldn't read it very well. I'm calling BS. Nice truck, though!

the vin don't tell what kind of bed... not on a chevy.
there is NO listing for disk brake option ANYWHERE in ANY lit I have seen, and have heard of ppl seeing it on an option sheet... but have yet to see one. He says it is gold, but that is ocher, which is a 71/72 color. I see a 69 grill... nice truck, but NOT original. Last edited by Longhorn Man; 05-04-2006 at 07:58 PM. |

looks like a 71 with a 69 or 70 grille.

Looks like it could be several trucks,they had a 70 title.

If you could get a pic of the door opening, looking towards the seat and gas tank, it may help. If you see the plastic vent near the VIN plate, then it would be a 71. If you don't, then at least the cab is a 69-70.

It`s all factory:`71 Cheyenne with CST/10 badges,`69 grille,and 69/70 seat.
