Inside my 'new' 70's glovebox, I found another owner's manual, protectoplate, Insurance ID card, 2 ownership tax receipts from 1971 and 1972. The truck's VIN is CE241J608272. PM me if this is your truck.

I know it's a shot in the dark, but I love having the plate for mine and I know everyone who doesn't have one would love to.

That is pretty cool. I got all the original paper work and manuals with my 68, including the protecto-plate!
