Wing Window ?

I'm rebuilding the wing windows and was wondering what glue, if any, is used on the division bar felt? Or, do you just push it in, and be done with it?

thanks.....steve

Re: Wing Window ?

I just used 3M weather strip adhessive. I used this on a friends 68 GMC a couple of years ago and it has held up well. I also used it on my 72 Chevys. I hope this info will help you.

Re: Wing Window ?

Yep, I used the 3M black weather strip glue, put it on fairly heavy, think I used some rubber bands and clothes pins to hold it for drying. After I had it on, I thought it may have been a good idea to remove the top rivet and put a new pop rivet though the felt and metal just to make sure the top doesn't curl down, I didn't do that, and it is ok, but that may be another option.
