C/70 gauges into pickup??
How difficult would it be to put a gauge cluster from a c/70 into a pickup? I picked one up with vacuum and tach and was tryin to figure out if it would be worth the effort. Would I need the plug from the C/70 for the gauges so the wires are in the right spots or would the pickup harness work? It came out of a '73 and is going in a '74 so it doesn't have the electronic oil pressure or volts gauge. But it also doesn't have the BRAKE light, like the pickups do. Would the OVERSPEED light, light up when the BRAKE light is supposed to come on?

Re: C/70 gauges into pickup??
I take it you got the type that has the gas gauge in the tach?? The wiring might be the same but, I'd want at least a hunk of the original harness so I could make sure how it pinned out, even then color codes may not matchup.
There is soem info at 73-87.com, Not much info on the big truck clusters though. As far as the overspeed, i think you can just swap the "Brake" cover for the "Overspeed" Cover.
