the first mock up........

It will fit, just make sure that you get an engine oil filter relocation kit. I once owned a 70 that had a 455 in it and the PO cut the frame rails instead of relocating the oil filter. Good Luck

where can you get a relocator kit at? and were do you move it to, does it just point the filter down?

The sttarter is on the passenger side.

I just bought onr from summit racing filter relocator and oil cooler for 80 bucks .

The type I have used had A block where the filter normally goes with two hoses coming away from it so you can relocate it wherever it fits best and you just cut the length of the hoses accordingly...Single oil remote..Easy install and even easier oil changes later on. Just check for leaks....

Did you have any luck finding motor mounts? Hope it all fits, because when I'm ready to put my 455 in I will know how to call.

Ya it is coming as fast as work and the wife lets it come. The motor mount brackets are from a 73-87 chevy, it doesn't mater there are all the same. When I get them and get them install there will be pics! The motor mounts them selfs not sure how to weasel that one yet but that day will come. might be able to find some or have a mach. shop build them, we'll see!!!

lookin good man... gotta love the mixed breed swaps. Shows originality.

I always say, GM made plenty of good truck engines...they just enver installed any of them in trucks.
