How much for rust free bed?

Just about what the title says. I'm not selling, there is one in the local trader. Is an 8ft fleetside metal floor wondering what they go for, just remember I'm in the RUST belt. This week is a pretty good one, has a bed, '72 4x4 4 speed for $2500 and a '72 Blazer with extra frame $1800. All different sellers. Don't know anything else about the vehicles.....yet.

Re: How much for rust free bed?

Live outside marietta ohio drug a complete truck w/8ft bed up from arkansas rust free minor denting on drivers side rear corner and I got minimal to no interest in this one at 200 bucks so while they may go for 700 - 1000 in the new england area they are much more reasonable down our way just my 2 cents Mike

Re: How much for rust free bed?

It can vary on how much someone appreciates the rarity on rustfree in the temperate weather zone. They can go as high as $1500 in these areas.Everyone wants them for nothing,I do.If bedsides and floors were reproduced you`d be looking at $1,500+ just for those three pieces.Add the other parts, new or used and assembly time/cost....Used 8' bedsides go for as much as $500 if cherry.

Re: How much for rust free bed?

I just paid $250 for a GMC Longhorn bed with no tail gate. The wood was shot. Best deal I have ever seen on one this big. Short beds are way more. I bought a whole truck just to get the bed cheaper on the short bed.
Respectfully

Re: How much for rust free bed?

I`ve seen alot of rustfree beds that had holes in the rear corners of the floor or looked like you could surf the waves in the floor.Rustfree, dentfree, and straight floor and wheelhouses,I`d pay a good price.
