Wanted: Nice Factory 72 Rear View Mirror

Wanted to see if anyone has a rear view mirror for a 72 (stainless back) they would sell. Shipping is to 55060.

original should be black plastic, the stainless ones are aftermarket or off another vehicle.
The feds requred anti glare mirrors in 72, which they were refering to the glare to oncoming traffic, not to the driver.

Hey Longhorn, thanks for the info. so Iv'e been looking for something that doesn't exist? I always thought and was told that 72 was the last year for the stainless back rear views.

They exist, but never in the trucks. I've seen some old GM cars... olds, buicks, caddys...they had it, and you can get one through LMC, but as far as being correct... it isn't.
