What type of posi for Dana 60 diff?

As some of you may know I am in the process of a resto on a 72 Custom Camper/20. This truck has a Dana 60 with 4:11's and no posi.
First off what did G.M. use if you were to purchase this truck new with positraction? Secondly I am looking for something that has nice characteristics. I do not plan to go to the extreme in any way as the truck is 2wd anyway, but more plan to put a boat in on the ramp at the campsite, or crawl up a gravel road to a remote hunting spot etc. I definately am hoping to find a system that does not chatter, bang and grab. I have had lots of different units in the past and some of them were just plain miserable for the little bit of benefit they gave.
Any suggestions or comments on those who already have something in use?
Thanks, OT

Don't quote me, but I believe the trac-loc was originally put in the dana 60 rearends.. I do however know that a Power-loc will also work. Both of these you can get used off then net.
But I do know a guy who has one in his shop. You could PM me for info..
Not sure what he sells them for...

Both of these a clutch type posi's

The power-lock was the posi offered in these axles. It was made by Dana/Spicer. You can adjust them to make them more aggressive or more passive by rearranging or adding/subtracting the clutches and steels.

Yeah what he siad.. I was being bassackward..

Because most powerlocs I have gotten came out of 60's then I convert them to 35 splines for front 60's.

Power Loks are strong units. Great street manners in a rear diff when set up with middle of the road clutch springs.
