Hey all,
It has been a pleasure rapping with all of you and acquiring great advise from many of you.after building two pretty nice air bagged shortbeds I have played enough and priorities need to be handled before my wants.
I ran into some financial difficulties and am bailing out of the 67-72 hobby.
Please take the time to read the rules before posting here-

location.
No bids or auctions allowed here!!! If you don't know the
price of what you are selling, then you should do some research. If a Moderator or Administrator here asks you to post price(s) and you have not within a 12 hour time frame, they will delete your thread, period.

XIV. As of October 15th 2005 subscribing members will be the only ones permitted to post for sale and want to buy ads on any classified section of this site. All other rules of buying and selling still apply. 67-72chevytrucks.com, its administrators or staff are not responsible for any transactions on or off the forums. We will work hard to ensure you a smooth transaction, and help in the event you may need it, but all for sale and trade areas are buyer beware. Re: farewell, parts and nice being here...

Please don't take this the wrong way, but if this site was of any kind of help to you in building your toys, it sure would be a nice gesture to Josh and all the moderators if you did do the donation. Plus, you could go ahead and list everything you have to sell to the best groups of buyers. After all the info I have gathered from this site over the past couple of years, I sometimes think $25 is nothing given what I have received.

On the other hand, it wish you good luck and hope you can get your hands dirty again real soon!

Re: farewell, parts and nice being here...

No offense taken, however when you go from over 60k a year to 0 in an afternoon and live in cali and have a morgage of almost 3k, 25 bucks can be alot, not to factor in it is 3.41 a gallon here and my ass needs to go look for a new job at less than 10 MPG.
I greatly appriciate all the kindness and great things I have learned and taught.
this was a farewell, and honestly I agree 25 bucks is not even a fraction of the price of what I have learned....
So I suppose it is craigs list and myspace for me.... unless some one who subscribes wants to help and post my parts
later guys,

Re: edited by moderator

I think a little compassion is warranted here. $25 is a lot to someone with no foreseeable income. I have seen things being sent for free to Georgia, we are holding yard sales, etc. The moderators may need to look at things like this on a case by case basis. Small donation for a one-time post or promise of donation once a job is secured (which could be easily monitored if that person begins posting and buying again). Just something for us to think about.

Re: edited by moderator

I left the post open AFTER reading the reason for the posting, out of compassion.
The editing was done before the second post by the thread starter, who in his first post stated

It was edited as a direct violation of the rules as any post would be. It has been left open because we felt badly for the situation he is in. FYI we do look at things on a case by case basis and do as is deemed right at the time..

I wish you the best in finding a new job Norcal... we all have hardships at times, you are in my thoughts
