Rally Wheel Widening

Just curious where i can get my Truck Rally Wheels widened or buy some that are already done for the 6 lug pattern. I put 35x12.5x15 tires on my 8 inch rims and they just look wrong. I need them to be 10" for them to spread out and look right. What have you guys done? Any idea what they might cost?

Re: Rally Wheel Widening

If it looks wrong to you, then by all means get them widened but 12.5's are run on 8" wheels all the time.
Fact is, if you wheel with it, the tire will protect those rims better with an 8" than a 10" wide wheel.

Consider this also, with a 10" wheel and 12.5's you'll BARELY fit inside the wheel wells on a car trailer. (don't know if you trailer) but it's good info to ponder on.

Watch the tire pressure (not to high) so you don't wear the centers and you'll be all set running that combo. JMO.

I have 15x8 Ralley's on my '72 pickup. Wheel Vintiques (http://www.wheelvintiques.com/) makes just about anything you can think of - any size, any width and in any bolt pattern...and will custom-make wheels as required. The "stock" sizes are pretty cheap - think I paid $58 apiece for my 15x8s, another 28 for the trim rings and I had centers from my Corvette.

Re: Rally Wheel Widening

Thanks for the help guys. I just like my tires to look more filled out like they are suposed to be. A buddy of mine has 15x10 truck rally wheels on his 72 pickup. Same tire and wheel setup as mine, but his tires actually look 1 1/2 inches wider and more symentrical looking. He got his at a swap meet so i knew it could be done, but was not sure where. Looks like i will be adding that to the list of things to do.

Re: Rally Wheel Widening

Stockton widens them, and sells them in a 15 x 10 rally
