I'm still traveling solo..no one wants to ride in the beast that long.
So what time is everyone getting there?
Burn out contest?
swap meat?
show and shine?
Piston toss?

Longhornmail----& Josh---Folks are coming in late morning and early afternoon as some are driving some distance, others are doing the street rod thingy first etc.
You guys need to sinc your schedules for the engine transfer? Swap meet begins when someone shows with stuff or money---I'm ready now. Josh, we are on Eastern time in this part of the world so you can come and/or go as necessary. If you have to be back by 3:00 which is 4:00 here, you will have to be gone by 2:00 and may not get to be with some who will arrive later in the afternoon. But I understand how them there cows are~~~~.

Speaking of trading--do have extra Buckets, console, tach dash, 5 & 6 lug rear asms, 6 lug frontend, door parts, 4hp-20Gal compressor, 1986 BMW 325--2door--5speed, 350V8 for rebuild, 350Turbo that's good, etc.-------

Need short fleetside bed, rust free cab, doors, 68-72 front clip, good Blazer tank, speedwarning dash, etc. Huck

Aug. 3rd get together

I could use a couple of reasonably priced exaust manifolds for a 72 350. Both need to angle toward rear of truck. I also have a blemished chrome glove box door if anyone needs one. (Free) See ya

GORDO--there's still time for you to make it--only about 16 hours for you. Jamie has only about 50 miles and it will probably take him almost 16 hours but then again I used to have a truck like his too!! Now Longhornmail probably has about a 4 hour trip and Fine69 =4 & 1/2. They dpon't realize the truly outstanding opportunity that is presented--ie meeting Disney the wonder dog! We will have to post a few pictures as he is ---well ----different!
BUT then again, YOU would already know about things being different. By the way, I am sporting some facefuz kind of like a early version of you---as my idle of course!! Hides stuff in there. If it gets long enough, can use it like you to buff the the chrome to a high luster!

uuuh lol, ok i think i got this figured out, i wasnt sure if shelbyville was a hour ahead or not, i knew louisville was.

i dont have to leave your house untill 3 central, 4 your time. i can be up there pretty much anytime between 11 your time, to 4 your time. so if you leave at like 8 andy, you could be there about 12, so you should leave like at 7 or 8 (leave at 7 and we might get there at the same time)

On the road from 8 to 12???Pfffft, I'll be in I-71...The ohio raceway. Just about every car I have ever owned up here got maxed out on that road. (then again, i got my first ticket on it too) I'll be there around 11. That's what I'm shooting for.
As for the chrome glove box door, i am interested, I'll bring some stuff I have layign around, but it isn't much. I do have a couple goodies though.

Some arriving around 11:00---most arriving around 1:00. Chow available around 2-3. Is Fine69 bailing due to eye operation??? probably a keyhole issue. The street rod nationals were unbelieveable. Hard to imagine some many---thousands of rods--all colors, ages, etc. The prices of stuff was also unbelieveable. Simple things that you pick up at Carlisle for $2-3 were like $8. Glad I'm not into street rods but it was fun anyway. Picked up $160 worth of POR15. Going to use it for TATOOS (inside joke for anyone who ever used it!) Huck
