Re: Hubcaps newer 8-lug style

You will need special lug nuts to use the hub caps with the plastic lug nut covers. I put a set of aluminum wheels off a 2005 chevy 3/4 ton and I had to get special lug nut to use the hub cab caps. You can get the lug nuts here.

Re: Hubcaps newer 8-lug style

Will these fit a duelly? The back hubs need to be deep enough to fit over the 3/4 hubs. Thanks Rick

Re: Hubcaps newer 8-lug style

I went out and fitted the front GMC dually caps on the front of my 3/4T and they clear the hubs. I have the later style steel wheels on the truck. They won't fit the older steel wheels correctly. It sits on the lip where the older style caps mount. They should fit aluminum mags ok.

As far as the Chevy caps. They of course fit the front ok, but not the rear hubs on a D60 full floater. The clearance is almost 3" on the inside of the caps. These may not fit your rear dually, but these fit a 14-bolt full floater (non-dually), as the hub is shallower.

But, like mentioned above, you'll need the special newer style lugnuts and plastic fake lugnuts to hold these on the wheel.

I have the rear GMC dually caps all the way around. I could have used the fronts but decided to match the rears with the fronts that's why I ended up with the extra fronts (had to buy 2 sets of dually caps, lol). I bought the lugs on ebay for about $50 for 32 pcs. I don't remember if they came with the plastic nuts or not. I'll post a pic of my wheels later.
