Question Spare tire question

I need to know if my spare tire will fit with a receiver hitch on my 86 GMC. The PO installed a hitch and the spare is laying in the bed. I need the extra room if it will fit. If ya'll need pics, I can get some tomorrow. Pics would also help me if anybody has some.

Re: Spare tire question

I have a receiver hitch and a spare tire on my '86 Chevy, so I know it is possible to have them together. Yours could be different, though. Do you have the mounting hardware in place for the spare? if so, give it a try.
