Wow that's in very good condition. Where'd you locate it in the Truck?

my boy bought a 67 from a college in virginia about 4 years ago. They were the original owner. They gave him every piece of info on the truck they had since buying it new. build sheet all the maintenance records. Its complete history. its almost 100% stock. missing hubcaps is all

Re: Anyone else have the build sheet for their truck?

I have one in my 63 Shortwide but its so old that it disintigrates when you touch it. I have decided just to leave it where it sets, in the back of the seat. I haven't been lucky enough to find one in my other trucks.

Re: Anyone else have the build sheet for their truck?

I got luck with mine. It was pulled early & put with the other records. Im glad I have it because the glove box sticker was removed when the interior was repainted...

Re: Anyone else have the build sheet for their truck?

That's not a build sheet.
I don't know what it is.. but it isn't a build sheet, onless maybe you have a canadian truck, but even then, I'd expect them to use the same GM form that every other assembly line used.
I have mine... let me see if I have a pic...

Re: Anyone else have the build sheet for their truck?

Well, after what...15, 20 min looking on my computer, I can't find any of them.
However, I'll show everything my first longhorn had in the glove box.
It also came with a recall notification, which is also lost in my hard drive somewhere.

Here is my Order Invoice. I also have the original Tax and Registration Receipts too.
On the Order Invoice you can see where Medium Green was struck out. The same mistake is scratched out on the glove box sheet. Old Yeller was and still is Harvest Gold.

Re: Anyone else have the build sheet for their truck?

Original build sheet. I don't even have the original motor (402 ), paint, wheels, who knows what else. I was wondering what kind of stuff comes with that restoration package (the Canadian one) from GM and how to get it. As far as that heavy rear suspension goes I think it is just stronger rear springs.

Yup,. that's all it was, HD springs. Not really a towing package, it wasn't even a 'package', just a single option.

Re: Anyone else have the build sheet for their truck?

I have the build sheet to my Camaro, but none of my trucks have had them. If I had a Swb, BBC, AC, yadda yadda, I'd want a build sheet, but the spec sheet in the glovebox is the very close second, I wish GM had done that with its muscle cars. Dodge did it, and man is it easy to decifer what options the car has, because it is stamped on the trim tag!!

Nice name for your truck but Chevy already used "Big 10" on the late 70's pickups. My GMC has the heavy duty rear springs too, and I don't believe it was uncommon. On the subject of build sheets, I found mine in 1995 when I bought my truck and cleaned out under the seat threw the shredded document in the trash since the largest peice was about 1/2" square.

Re: Anyone else have the build sheet for their truck?

farside847, that's a pretty nice collection you have there, could post a picture of your glove box sticker to complement the paperwork? I am curious about codes/numbers are common to the build sheet, window sticker and glove box sticker.

Re: Anyone else have the build sheet for their truck?

I have the heavy duty rear spring option as well, plus I also have the anti-sway bar up front. I had located my build sheet, but it was near disentigration, so I salvaged the greater part of it. It also listed the engine option # 04L30AC, but after running the cam, crank, and intake numbers, I discovered that I have the 300 horse 327. Imagine my surprise.
