Re: flipping bed over..........
how about barrowing the cushins off of the couch and using them to tip the bed back over. using the back of the bed instead of the front "front panel" might be safer too. just my thoughts,

Re: flipping bed over..........
I use old moving blankets and 2x4's to keep it off the gravel if there is any on the concrete.
roj...LOL...those were the days...cleaning parts in the dishwasher and building circle track bikes in the front room...whooo hoooo!

Re: flipping bed over..........
I bought a 2 inch thick, 4x8 ft sheet of styrofoam, could be cut down some, to do just that, . I would do the flip on the front, the rear could bend if sat on that end. You will need atleast 4 fairly strong people to do the flip.

Big sheets of cardboard work fine.

Re: flipping bed over..........
I know your pain... me and my brother took the bed off the other day and I have no idea how the two of us can flip it back the normal way to work on it... although my bed is not as pretty as I had originally thought... apparntly someone used some cardboard in there as body filler.. so there will be some unhappyness when I strip it down to metal...
