Ran across 5 big blocks today in northern mn for sale. Looks like complete long blocks with out accessories. NO brackets, pulleys, alts etc... They are in inside storage. If someone is SERIOUS, i can go check numbers on them and see what they are. He said 402s and 454s. Consider these builders. He is wanting $500-600 each. Must be picked up in northern minnesota. I think the 454s were $600.

Rod, it will take a few days before i can get back there, but i will try to find out more. I looked at them today, but i didn't look them over close.

I'd be interested in a 402, if you can get info on one of those. Northern MN isn't far from me.

I am pretty sure one of them came out of a 71 or 71 chevy truck. The others i'm not sure.
Would you and rod be interested in picking up a couple at the same time?
I will try to check them out and get pics on sat. Maybe he will go a little cheaper if i can sell 2 at the same time.

UPDATE: Looks like one is a 70-72 402.
Another is a mid 70's 454
the other one looks like a 73 454.
There is also a 400 small block 4 bolt main but i forgot to ask price.
There are other misc. heads and intakes, but that is all i saw for complete engines. I think i can arrange shipping to winnipeg for $50 apiece.
These have NO brackets or other external parts. They are $500 each.
There are also some small blocks in there, but i ran out of time.

I don't suppose you have the casting numbers for the 402 block and heads. I would pick it up if I got one, shipping not required.

I didn't pull the valve covers to check those numbers but the block number is 3969854 402
3999289 454
361959 454
