Ebrake cable removal

trying to remove my cab from the frame and the only thing left attached is the ebrake cable where it goes through the frame. how do I remove it? Thanks

If there is any mud or debris on the nose (the part that sticks through the hole), brush or scrape it off. Spray the nose and area with a penetrant and slide a 9/16" box wrench over the "fingers" to hold them down. Wiggle the cable to make sure the fingers are sticking out as far as possible so that the wrench contains them completely up to the hole. Sometimes the wrench must be tapped on to make it slide up the fingers. Once the wrench is in place, (and held ) the cable can be removed.

are them clamps that hold the cable in the bracket? i just removed mine the other day and it was quite rusty and only one finger had any spring tension left. i don't want ti do somthing half assed like a hose clamp if i can get a new one
