GMC "Custom" script door emblems

Man, these things are hard to come by! Mine were stolen off my 69 by some punk that just used a screw driver. After a long search, I FINALLY found some, but they dont have the mounting prongs on them. Looks like they were just pried off as well.

My question is, does anyone know if i can weld new prongs on them? If not, any ideas how to put them on? Im worried about welding because of the material the emblems are made out of.

Anyone else have better luck finding these than I did?

Can weld em they are pot metal and any heat is liable to melt them. Could drill and tap? Maybe epoxy new tabs, I am guessing new used that are unbroken is your only hope?!

My choice would be to get some of the trim tape used on newer vehicles, and adhere it to the back of the script and stick it on.

Can`t use dbl tape on these script ones.I thought they were reproed.Golden State Pickup Parts had them in their showcases at shows. It`s been awhile since they`ve been around.Since Seth and Merideth sold it,the new owner does run east to the big shows.I miss that.
