700R4/205 combo
Anyone running a 700R4/205 combo? How do you like it.? What does one need to do this? An adapter? Who makes them?
Thanks, trying to pick you guys' brains on this. Appreciate it. |

I believe that Advanced Adapters make an adapter.

Yep, you'll have to use an aftermarket adapter, those two were never offered together.

700r4/np205
Great! Cuts my highway rpm down and first gear is lower than my old t350. I had to get a new tailshaft for tranny from Advanced Adapters. Once installed, tranny will bolt up to stock adapter for t350/np205. I would suggest upgrading 700R4 while you have it apart. Corvette servo, better bands, etc...

Thanks for that link.
The tranny I have is out of a 4X4, I have the 205. Going to have it all gone through, as the 350 is now. Now all I need is the Blazer. ha ha |
