PIC of my Blazer

I may have figured out how to resize my pics. I hope this works. The Blazer is a 72 with a 69 grill because it is the only one I have right now. I will post more info later if the pic loads.

Thanks,
Mario

Hey man, we should have swapped grills on your way thru. I have a 72 grill on my truck now and would rather have the 69.

How long before you have it on the road?

Re: PIC of my Blazer

The Egg Crate grills look fine but the 69-71 Grill as such a classic look to it. Back in 1996 I bought a new one for my 70'. It came wrapped in GM plastic. Cost $325.

By the way. What is the GM part# for the 72 Grill?

Re: PIC of my Blazer

Thanks for the responses. Krue, thanks for the offer but I see a 68 front end in the feature for the K5. That will always be my favorite year. Plans for right now is to get it on the road and drive it for a few months to work all the bugs out of it. I have had it for 2 years and just fired the engine I put in it a few weeks ago. I have no idea how long it was off the road prior to that. I have a feeling that I may be swapping transmissions this weekend as this one wont go in any gear. It came with the K5 and the seller had no idea if it worked. I managed to pick up a 700R and a 208 along the way though. I have taken the doors of as they need work and I dont want to put the money or time into them right now. The top I got from Krue is comming of as it needs some repairs as well. It is also at, near or over 100 degrees everyday now and I dont have a/c. I have a new set of 35-12.5-15 waiting to go on and I just got my racing buckets mounted this past weekend.

Re: PIC of my Blazer

No pics but I drove her around the block a few times today. Open exhaust is awsome. I wish I could keep it. It still needs work. I need to bleed the brakes, install a lower rad hose (when it comes in) and replace the thermostat. I got the inner fenders, whiper motor, seatbelts and parking cables of the parts truck I bought. It is going to be fun to licence her. Califorina title, Florida bill of sale and licence here in Texas. Need to start on it this week so when she is done, she is legal.
