BTO 700R4 and BTO temp gauge

I'm a bit confused on the wiring connections of BowTie OD temp guage. It has 4 connections, gnd, +12v, T and B. Ok, obviously the gnd and 12v are straight forward, and I figured T was for the temp sender - but it does not indicate, tried connecting the sender to B, still nothing. Anyone have this gauge installed and working?

TIA
