Carb queston

okay i am slowly putting my 283 back together ..... .030 over , mild cam , ram head exhaust ..... qusetion i have is , it has a 2 jet rochester with 7027105 # on it but i cant find any thing with cfm listings ..... would like to keep it if it will work ( 500 cfms ) or ill have to get a manifold and a small 4 brl ( 600 or 650 ) . nothing to big for a 283 .......
would a big 2 brl on a 283 work as good as a small 4 ?

I dont know about the CFM but a properly tuned quadrajet will supply only the amount of fuel the engine needs. long live the q-jet!!
