Reproduction Cross Sill body mount

Has anyone located a supplier for the cross brace that is located right behind the step up in the bed floor. I've been searching all of my sites and can't seem to locate it. I've seen it some where so I'm almost positive it has been made. BTW it is for a '72 GMC Jimmy

Any help would useful as I'm getting ready to tackle my wood floors!!! Thanks Jim

Re: Reproduction Cross Sill body mount

I'm confused... Are you doing a Jimmy or a Suburban? If you are doing a Jimmy/Blazer, then you might want to check with the guys on the blazer board to see if the cross sill from a pickup will work as the blazers have a steel bedfloor. If you are doing a Burb, then you are stuck as there isn't too much that they repop for them... I do have a VERY rough 72 C20 Burb that I am cutting up. The cross sill I believe is still good. Let me know & maybe we can meet up sometime. I'm about 15 minutes from the Walt Whitman bridge...

Oh, and welcome to the board!

Yeah, I am doing a jimmy and I guess it got stuck on the wrong board, any way I found a piece of 2x3 tubing I'm going to use. Hopefully I'll meet you at the NE board meeting. Thanks for the input Jim
