Master Cylinder gasket?
Do you need a gasket between the MC mounting flange and the brake booster, I noticed my original MC had one when I took it off.

Re: Master Cylinder gasket?
i have never seen one on these trucks..i suppose you could..but, it's just going to make your rod shorter...mines to short all ready
your not talking about the rubber seal in the brake booster right? that should be there...i am thinking your talking about something looking like a water pump gasket. right? mark |

Re: Master Cylinder gasket?
You don't need it. there is a weep there to let fluid out if the master leaks anyway. I have seen them before but I never put them back in. the front and back halves of a booster are sealed by the diaphram and the rubber insert inside where the master cylinder bolts and the master is sealed internally I think the gasket was just a dust seal
