From the looks of the original paint on the truck it sure looks like the remains of a 50th Anniversary truck

That sure looks like two tone Anniversary gold paint scheme. Is the interior paint and steering column the same color gold?

the steering wheel and column are gold as is the rest of the interior, would the vin number tell what it is? is there any desire for these parts?

The vin won't tell you anything about it being a 50th. If the interior still have good parts, it might be worth a little to someone, but I think the complete package is where the value would be. Too bad the glove box sticker is gone

If you are parting the truck and the trim is in good shape, I may be interested in it.

Thanks

SWINGSAX68 if you want a hood i have one you can have, no way to ship it though, im not sure if i will use it or sell it, its got normal missouri rust but its better than the one ive been working on. the bed was almost perfect, but th3e guy i got it from torched the frame and is making a trailer out of it! i hate that, use a junk bed for that, i know someone would willingly swap him and a few dollars for the bed, it was nice. i told him not to buy any 68s any more, its the second one hes cut up. hers another veiw.

'68,

That is DEFINATELY a 50th. Look in the first picture. Not only is the top the original white, but if you look real close at the bottom where the white goes, you'll see that along the back edge of the cab, the rattle-bomb didn't cover all the original white.

Same goes for the front of the clip. Look where the bumper had it covered and the black didn't get to it -- white.

Too bad another 50th in pieces...

How many of the 50ths were made any what percentage of that year were the 50th edition? I am beginning to think that they aren't so rare.
