Re: Part out or Sell out right???

Depends on if it's worth getting running cheap enough. If it has good body and easy to fix up to where running then sure sell it as one. If it has swiss cheese body, roughed up interior etc. then it might be better to part out.

Re: Part out or Sell out right???

Well, body's pretty rough. Interior has a see-thru floor, the highly sought after "Visible Spring Seat" and moderate rust thru in all the normal places. But, being 3/4 ton 4x4 with the full floater rear end, I figured I could get something parting out, especially around here - TONS of rock crawler types in Northern Nevada!

But, the P/O want's me to "Bring it by and show them" .. the results when I'm done with it! They have signed it over to me, so it's mine to do what I want, but, It was a freebie, and I work with the guys wife. So, I'm bearing some guilt here.

AND, Yesterday, my wife says, "You should just give it back and let them know it's too much work." WTF!!! It's free, I'll work my way thru the guilt. But give back a FREE donor truck - especially when I have the 80 K10 and the 73 K5 to budget for!!

I'll keep the truck. Will consider a swap for the wife.

- Dave

ps: Just kidding hun.
