72 K5 A/C Questions

I am working on gathering parts to get the A/C working in my new 72. I bought a reman compressor, new dryer and new expansion valve/oriface tube. My truck was already converted to 134a.....my question is should i use the POA valve or convert it to a cycling system with a POA valve update kit from Chevy Duty.
What can i expect out of my system once i get it all working? Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated.

Re: 72 K5 A/C Questions

I have stock everything converted to 134A and mine will run you out of the truck. This is another one of the great debate subjects on this board Stock AC or vintage air. Anyway there is a thread where a guy gives a link to an AC guys website where they talk about adjusting a R12 POA to 134 and its suppose to make all the difference. I thought I had saved the link but cannot find it now. If I do I will post it
