i HAVE A CHANCE to pick up an 86 1/2 ton chevy van for $100.00.

Can I use the cross member for a disc brake swap, what about the rear end?

Thinking about pickin it up and using the van for storage once I take the front end off.

Any one ever used a van for the front parts. I ahve had someone tell me they might be more "heavy Duty" why I dont know? but worth looking into.

Need to know soon or the van goes to the next guy.

I'm pretty sure they aren't wide enough.

Decided to pass on the deal. Great tires and all I would have had to dispose of the POS when I was done wiht it and my wife has already told me no more Krap around the house.

I too was also told that the frame widths of the truck and van are different, so you are doning right by passing....
