And so it begins - 67 build up

Not that I was really wanting to start another truck build, but since my 72 was totalled, it is time to start on the 67, progress will be slow, but here are a few starter pics.

The next post will show why I have to take both beds to a body shop.

Previous owners work

Here is why I have to have both beds taken to a shop, I will be using the black longbed for parts to repair what the PO did. There was a propane tank in the bottom of the short bed and also the rear sill of the bed was welded to a bumper. The PO made a rollpan for the truck out of a steel bumper and got real happy with a torch and welder.

Oh well

Looking good on the teardown/build. That was some weird stuff about the bed. Of course, I have been known to do some really stupid things in the past to vehicles to hold them together.

Re: And so it begins - 67 build up

Like I said in the first post, progress will be slow. I didn't think it would be this slow, but oh well........

Anyway, a/c firewall & dash are now in place.
