Is this a correct 1972 Air Cleaner
Folks, I think this thread is OK but if not apologies in advance and please correct me on the right approach.
1. Can anyone verify that this air cleaner is a correct 1972 SBC? http://www.warbird.org/photox/IMG_2387.JPG http://www.warbird.org/photox/IMG_2386.JPG http://www.warbird.org/photox/IMG_2388.JPG 2. If so, can anyone offer a suggestion for what something like this is worth? I'm less interested in making a ton of bux and more interested in getting this onto someone's restoration...but a few bux for it would be nice - I've got my own bad habits THANKS! |

It should be the correct one.
It should also have AC part# A329C element.

Re: Is this a correct 1972 Air Cleaner
Every time I see a post like this it kills me. I have always had a shop that I tinkered in and let my boys and their friends work in also. When they put on the cheep chrome kits they left stock breathers, valve covers, timing covers, and oil pans behind. I have hauled pickup truck loads to the scrap yard and gave them away because they would not buy sheet metal. No wonder that I'll die poor.

Bill...hold on to it. I got one for $1.00 at the Monroe Swap meet last fall but prices are sure to go up. I was willing to pay about $10 but was very surprised to see them so cheap. Mine rattles, which is a little irritating but I will get it figured out here shortly...LOL!

If you want to know what it's worth, post in the parts forum, not here. Post is closed.
