converting 8 lug to 5 lug?

I've got 2.5 inch drop 3/4 ton spindles and I'm wondering if there is a way to run the 1/2 ton hubs. Are the bearings the same or is there a cross over bearing to slip on the 3/4 ton spindle and accept the 1/2 ton hub? I hate to not use the 3/4 ton drop spindles but my 20" wheel options for 8 lug are slim and most just don't look very good. Thanks

Here is the only thing I could find on this. Of course it is a completly new set of spindles.
