Auto flywheel question
Is a 250 flywheel for an automatic the same as a V8?

Re: Auto flywheel question
Ok, so I was installing a TH350 behind my 230 Inline 6.
I had to remove the old flywheel and use one from a smallblock Chevy (that had the TH350 behind it). Now, I dunno if the flywheel from a TH350 fits a TH400. All I can tell you is, if you find a truck (in the wrecking yard for example) that has a 400, that flywheel is bond to work no matter what engine application. I think the bolt pattern is the same for most GM engines. The flywheel off that V8 in the yard fits my Early 60's 230. |
