Master Cylinder ?'s
From my understanding, 4 wheel drum & front disk/rear drum have different master cylinders...
I'm looking at a long term axle conversion on my 4X4. Is there a difference between 1/2T & 3/4T MC's? |

Re: Master Cylinder ?'s
I just did the same swap for disc brakes, I bought an MC for my truck, it was considerably larger than my drum/drum MC, I also have a 1/2t disc/drum MC, and it also seems much smaller than the one I have in my truck. I bought mine at Napa, it was just over twice as expensive, figured it was because it was a 3/4t specific part.
If you are gonna do the swap, I can give you a run down of the problems I have run into if you need them (might help you have parts on hand before the swap to avoid the downtime I have had)
