hood adjustment
Trying to adjust my hood (never ending). My worst spot is this, on one side of my hood the gap between the hood and fender is like very small and on the other side like 1/2 inch. Can some one tell me is this most likely the fender or the hood that needs adjusting? Because I can not get the hood to adjust side to side at all.

Re: hood adjustment
How are your hood hinges? Mine was like that until I replaced both of them, now it seems to sit square in the middle. My driver side spring was weaker than the other and it caused the hood to sit funny.

Re: hood adjustment
Take the latch bolt loose that is attached to the hood and let the hood rest in the closed position. If the gap is even on both sides, then adjust the latch bolt bracket accordingly. If it is still off, have one person get on one side of the hood and one on the other side, with the hood in the open position, at the same time, one pushes and the other pulls in the direction to where the wider gap is. This might take several trys, but it will work. This will actually spring your hinges just enough to line it up. I had to do it on my hood with new hinges and it turned out looking very good. This suggestion came from another board member. Good luck!
