Is possible Dana 30 in C10.

Is enought strong a Dana 30 axle to the front of a C10 ?
I want a Dana 44, but isn't easy to get in Argentina. (not impposible).
My question is for if found a Dana 30.
The Dana 60 is very big for my use.

Thank you.

I don`t think you want a Dana30.I don`t think you would find one that is wide enough for your truck.I think you would break a Dana30 very easily in 4wd.

Thank you.
I think the same thing, but had the doubt.
It is not easy in Argentina to find a Dana 44 front.
(less Chevy wide, in 3.73, right side).
We have few Chevys 3/4ton of 1970-1990 4wd.

Good luck.It must be hard.I would give you one if you want to pay freight. That would be expensive, though.Maybe I could smuggle it onto a cruise ship for Rio.

Thumbs up Re: Is possible Dana 30 in C10.

Thank you again, but I don't want troubles with the border police.
It is a question of continuing searching and wainting.
