Question simple 700r4 flexplate question

ok guys,
i put my flex plate back on & i think i put it on backwards (if possible) i want to know if the rectangular "dimples" face toward the block (like i have) or do the rectangular "dimples" face toward the tranny side???

any information or pics would be greatly appreciated....

This was just covered last month. Dimples reach out to toque Converter , away from crank.

thanks! that was the thread that i was remembering i just couldn't find it...i even did a search! ooooowell!!! i was afraid of the answer. i just put the threadlock & everything on too!!!

well anyways thanks for the assistance!!!

Not to worry, you caught it before damage was done. This just happened to me when I painted my fuel cell and forgot which was the pickup and which was the vent. Ran the lines and, of course......I had them backwards, confirmed by Mark (aka FuelCellGuy). So, reversed em' and I'm good to go.

So......Just get under there, suck it up, get ta wrenchin', and turn that sucker over. Good Luck dude!
