Sectioned 56
Here's some pics of a truck we're putting together. I had posted some pics of it under the "in progress 55" thread, and some people wanted more.

Re: Sectioned 56
that came out well. I'd like to see what ever you have on this one. Are you leaving the door handles on as a anti theft device.

Re: Sectioned 56
Nice!
What kind of hinges do you use on the doors?

Re: Sectioned 56
I am not sure if the handles will stay or go, I think it would be cool to leave them on and make it where the button on the handle actuates the door popper. The hinges are from autoloc, I was pleased with how they work (the instructions were pathetic).

Re: Sectioned 56
Put the handel on the front of the door. Did you tack the doors in place and then do the hinges?

As for the hinges, I had the door off while I placed them in the cab. I had to make a mock door edge that I then tacked to the hinge in order to get the placement just right. I then tacked the door in place where I wanted it and mounted the hinges to the door. Seemed to work out well enough. |

Those are just some shop rollers (keeps me from ruining the "good stuff") The wheels are 17 inch ultra's... don't know if they make them anymore. I do know they were pretty cheap. |

Hey,
I'm a chevy guy, but I love all old classic American Steel if they are clean and nice. That looks like a hell of a Ford in the background. The 56 is what can I say after all its a Chevy |
