rear axle bump stops
Lowered my 71 short bed with leafs 2/4 and when hitting bumps while driving the rear would hit the bump stops causing me to get a little whip lash. I tried to cut one down about 1.5" and accidentally pulled the stop in two. Three questions, are these available aftermarket? If so, what are they called? Do I really need these?

Yes they are...call Les at GMC Pauls....rear bump stops works.
