Fender Emblems
What are the correct fender emblems for a 69 (c-10) LWB with a 350? How do you determine the correct location on the fender?
Thanks!

Re: Fender Emblems
Need more info on your truck in particular. It could be a C/10,Custom/10,or CST/10.If no chrome around the glass and metal door panels,it`s a C/10.If it has original seat covering, the Custom had a nylon cloth and the CST had a scrolled vinyl to match the door panels.Do you have the VIN-spec sheet on the inside of the glovebox door?It will say Custom Sport Truck Equipt(CST) or Custom Comfort & Convenience(Custom). There are other differences in trim, but I don`t know how original your truck is.
The engine badge goes below the Nameplate on the upper/rear of the fender.Someone must have filled the holes.I don`t have the measurements handy.

Re: Fender Emblems
The holes may have never been drilled if itdidn't come with the 350. The engine badges were only for optional engines... ie, no badges for the 250 base engine in the S series, and no 307 badges for the base engine in the E series.
No idea as to why the 292 badges are so hard to find. |

Re: Fender Emblems
LonghornMan is right, more good info.I was assuming none of the holes were present. Are you keeping it correct/original?Just a suggestion, but I think the 67/68 badges are cool.Same holes, they are a bowtie with a "10" below. All one piece, you`d want to skip the engine badge with those I think.

Re: Fender Emblems
I think emblem locations are in the Assembly Manual.
