rear cab trim
HELP !!! How do you get the trim off that runs across the back of the cab under the window? I sure dont want to mess it up. Thanks.

Use a putty knife and slide it under the trim. It just clips over a small plastic piece. There are 12 clips, one on each corner one near each drip rail and the rest across the back. The trim is "u" shaped and just pops over the plastic piece which is about 1/2" long.

if it just pops on and off them clips why do them clips need to be put on them studs ?and why couldn't a guy put them clips with pop rivets or sheet metal screws? i know you can buy screw in studs for a cab that didn't come with cab devider trim but they are so short that if your cab was dented [as so many are in this area]and has any filler at all are to short

Them studs is holdin`the clips to the body,so they`ll stay.Like stl said,the trim is just "popped" over them clips.It takes care to install/remove.

If your plastic clips are old don't be suprised if you mess a few up on the edges from removing/installing.

i have new clips and i bought the screws that are made to go with them to use on cabs that wern't oraginaly equiped but they are very short and my cab was dented and filled so i'm worried they wont all catch metal
