LWB driveshaft question
My brother is trying to get an 84 LWB with a 305 and TH400 going and he needs a driveshaft. Does anyone have a measurement on one so I know what he needs?

Re: LWB driveshaft question
I can probably give you my readings off my truck, i wouldn't think having a different engine would make the trans be in a different spot..unless it's a std cab

Re: LWB driveshaft question
If it's a standard cab, why not go 1 piece?

Re: LWB driveshaft question
Well I have been down this road and a one piece driveshaft to cover the lenght is too long. The factory one piece driveshafts were really pushing the lenght of them. I have a two piece driveshaft from a 3/4 ton with a th400. I can take the measurements if you like. What type of a th400 is it? Is the 84 C10 stock otherwise?

Re: LWB driveshaft question
As far as I know it's stock, but considering who he got it from I could be wrong.
