Show me your two tone stepside pictures

I am in the process of getting my truck ready to paint and I need some two tone ideas for a stepside K10.

You won't find too many photos, they never built them, and a large percentage of the ppl here lean towards the stock-ish look.

Re: Show me your two tone stepside pictures

Well... I never think of that as 2 tone....
Yes, they did the white roof thing, but no real 2 tone as in side panels.

Re: Show me your two tone stepside pictures

As I was scrolling down, I was thinking, "This is an awesome truck."

Then on the 6th pick I exclaimed, "Holy Sh*t! It's got a big block!"

Ask my wife!

Love that paint! Nice, very nice!
Edit, just noticed the tail lights. Cool idea. In fact, I don't find anything not to like about that truck.

Re: Show me your two tone stepside pictures

That's a good looking truck! Sits perfect, tastefull color combo and minor graphics on tailgate, great wheel/tire combo (tires have some sidewall), sanitary engine bay with a brutal looking rat, and perfect use of an El Camino bumper!

Hey man, nice truck. Personally, I get more of a kick seeing a truck/car built on a shoe-string budget by the actual owner than a trailer queen that someone paid someone else to do for them.

Re: Show me your two tone stepside pictures

I had the same question a long time ago and someone posted a picture of a truck that was one of the nicest stepside paint jobs I had seen. If you were to tape a line from the top of the bed and where it rounds down so that you would have two lines going all the way around the cab and the front of the truck or should I say that follow the hood line then he painted the space between the tape lines some crazy color like Silver and then he painted the top of the truck a Deep Royal Green Color and on the bottom he painted the truck kind of a cream color. It sounds crazy but it really looked great. Im sure you could replace the colors with just about anything you wanted and it would look great depending on your tastes of colors. Just an Idea.
Good Luck with your Paint Job.
