I want to reduce the weight of my fleetside (especially the front). I have been eating less but it's just not enough!
I have been looking around and can't find anyone who makes fiberglass fenders for these trucks, does anyone know where I can get some?

give those guys a call... they make the whole tilt front clip so im sure they could cut you just the fenders.. or hell just get the whole clip, cab and bed... that would be pretty light

nice, those do look cool, but they sure are pricey.. i guess my previous 67 nova with fiberglass parts was worth more then i though.
to bad they don't make bolt on fenders, thats what i would like the most.

I find it strange, you can get a cab, box, doors, hoods, inner fenders, whole front clip, but no seperate fenders or bumpers. The 2 items I want!!

you have a part number? I'm pretty sure they only sell them in rears.. but if they have fronts thats news to me

I just called chevy duty...not fronts yet. They have them for a 66 though

Chevy Dutys catalog must be wrong,they list part # 37-225 for a 68-72 left front fiberglass and a 37-226 for the right.

damn, i was get'n all excited about a new set of front fenders. I may consider a flip up front end...but i'm sure there is a lot of extra work involved since there are no bolt holes made yet, and building brackets to swing the top up witout hitting the cab... who builds a flip front end without brackets designed to flip properly anyway?

both of those part numbers are for the rear when you do a search on there website... not sure where your looking

Your right, I just noticed the fenders in the catalog are marked wrong. They are in reverse order,fronts are rears and rears are fronts. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't know if the company I got my glass from is still in business but I have a race weight one piece clip with a removable hood and glass doors I know they did make a front bumper also! Mine came from creative glassworks in Oneida Tn

I know this is old as hell, but for anybody that was wondering creative glassworks is no longer in business. I too am looking for glass front end parts.

There was an ad on St.Louis, MO CL for a complete glass clip.
In the $800 range as I recall.
Guy ran the ad for a few months.
Mabey keep an ongoing search, see if it pops back up.
I get the whole lighter is faster concept. Both accel and decell.
I once had an old Porsche 912 (flat 4) and seriously considered some glass for it.

For the truck, I'd probably spend the glass money on more engine and better brakes.

why can't you cut the inside of the fenders out? you know the braces or what ever you want to call them. and smooth out the inside of the fender and use them as a pattern. get them smooth and then put your mold wax or what ever you want to call it[the stuff the fiberglass won't stick to] start laying your mat and applying your resin and matt. to the thickness that you want and let sit and then take out your fenders.don't know if this would work but it's an idea. just thought i'd throw in my .02.
