55-59 Tip & Flip Dolly plans!

Ok the 55-59 Plans are now ready for shipment. You can read about the 67-72 cab dolly here ( http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...77#post1635077 ). This dolly lets you roll the cab around the shop for easy moving and storage. Also when needed to work on the cab for rust repair and paint this dolly lets you tip it on any of four sides with out the cab contacting the ground in any way. So far I have been using these in my own shop for rust repair and body mods and they have been a real time saver. The link below is for Pay Pal or you can send a certified check for $28.95 to

No I do not it would be unsafe due to the weight. The largest one I am producing is for the early Blazers. For a burb I recomend going with a auto rotisseri. Yes they are more $ (alot more) but for a project that size and weight that is the safest way to go.

I feel the same way every time I work on a project in the shop that is on a dolly. It just makes everything so much easier. Here is a firewall job I am doing now and with the lift legs it makes it all a a good working height. Keep inmind I designed these for my use in my shop to speed my production and quality for my customers. The plans just turned out to be a nice by-product for everyone else.

I got mine a while ago but haven't had chance to get the steel. A little old lady T boned my 2001 G30 15 passeger van on the 12th of july and they just now totaled it. $9700 in damage in a 35 mph crash. she was driving a honda passport. I got a truck now so I can get the steel and start on my cab.

Re: 55-59 Tip & Flip Dolly plans!

I didn't get hurt. in fact I thought it was just a small hit till I got out and looked at it, then I still didn't see 9700 in damage. I have a ranger now so I'm actually going to have to be courtious while driving. No more going where I want on the hiway. You know those one blink lane changes that make honda accords fly off the road.
